WSE Super Tube
Heating using the power of the sun has never been so affordable and easy. The secret is the evacuated tube technology of our water heaters. Each tube, within the collector, is actually two concentric tubes sealed together. Using the latest magnetron sputtering process aluminum-nitrogen is deposited onto the inner tube. This allows for the most efficient conversion of solar radiation into heat. The space between the two tubes is evacuated of air, allowing for near perfect insulation. This evacuation also creates an area of lower air pressure, which allows the water within to boil well bellow 100C.
Based on this principle the liquid within our tubes has a boiling point of just 30 degree Celsius. When the heat pipe (within the tubes) is heated above 30 degrees the water vaporizes. This vapor rapidly rises to the top of the heat pipe, transferring heat in the condenser. As the vapor cools it returns to a liquid state and falls to the bottom of the heat pipe to repeat the process.

The WSE58 Super Tube’s simple design allows for trouble free operation for over 40 years; with 50% thermal output, even on cloudy days. This system can be pressurized and produces up to 4000 btu/hr. The key factor for increases in efficiency is the elimination of the condenser. This allows the heat to pass directly to the manifold. Install by yourself or with our help.
